AWARDS CEREMONIES:
A great Award Host does more than read out the nominations - they are there to ensure that the event runs smoothly and that everyone has a great time. As a professional and experienced Mentalist, Alex has performed at many awards events and as well as hosting the event, is always ready with some short interludes to fill time when the unexpected happens. He is also able to create some bespoke pieces to fit in with the theme of the awards or the industry represented. Alex meets up with the client several times before the event to go over the script and running order to make sure that on the night everything will go as planned. But if the unexpected happens, Alex will be on hand to ensure that the audience won't be aware of it! Alex is also able to present a 15, 30 or 45 minute show to introduce the awards part of the evening and this always goes down well and creates a feeling of excitement and anticipation for the awards themselves.
GALA DINNERS & CHARITY FUNDRAISERS:
Typically in Gala Dinner there will be many times throughout the evening where an emcee or host will prove invaluable. The call to dinner, announcing guest speakers, the raffle, auction and much more. A great event host will ensure that the whole event runs smoothly and everyone has a great time.
EVERYTHING ACCORDING TO PLAN
As soon as possible Alex will have a meeting (either on zoom, teams or in person) with the event organisers to go through the event. Here they work out any potential hiccups and make sure that the event is going to go smoothly. Alex is happy to have as many meeting as necessary to make sure that everything is covered. Alex is always available to give any advice or suggestions that will help to make the event the best possible.
BUT ALEX ISN'T A CELEBRITY!
No, he isn't, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing! For a start Alex doesn't come with a celebrity price tag! Also many celebrities will just turn up, read from the script and then leave. But as an experienced host and entertainment specialist, Alex can offer so much more. He will have as many pre-event meetings as necessary to make sure the details are correct and he wil be there for the whole of the event to make sure any problems are dealt with in a professional way so that the audience isn't aware of anything that has gone wrong. And if you need some extra filler at any point, Alex will be on hand to step in with some amazing mindreading that will have the audience gasping with disbelief!
